If you ever walk into a restaurant
and there’s a line of people waiting
and you see only one person working the front and is obviously trying to do everything they can to help everyone
don’t treat them like shit
and absolutely, under no circumstances, should you ever
ever
utter or even think the phrase
“the customer is always right”
because guess what, they aren’t
this has been your customer service PSA for the day
PREACH! This cannot be reblogged enough. This applies to all service positions, not just restaurants. Treat people with civility and respect and you will usually get it back.
